Watercress Stew

Ingredients:

  • Oil
  • Tofu
  • Watercress
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Kimchee
  • Salt and pepper
  • Water
  • Shoyu (soy sauce)
  • Green onion

Directions:

  1. Add oil to a wok/pot and heat to medium high
  2. Once hot, add cubed tofu and season with salt and pepper
  3. Once slightly seared, add kimchee, ginger and garlic (cook for about 1 minute)
  4. Add water (about 3 cups)
  5. Add shoyu and cover to let simmer (bring heat down) for about 10 minutes
  6. Cut green onions into 1-inch pieces and add to wok/pot
  7. Cut watercress into 2-inch pieces and add to wok/pot
  8. Turn off the heat and let sit
  9. Serve and enjoy while hot
