Roasted Turnip
Ingredients:
- 2 cups turnips peeled and cubed
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400*F
- Cut off both ends and peel turnips.
- Cut into 1/2-inch slices, then cut each slice into 1/2-inch-thick cubes.
- Place the turnips in a medium bowl and toss with the olive oil.
- Spread the turnips onto baking sheet and season with salt, pepper, and other desired spices.
- Roast, tossing halfway through, for about 30 minutes or until light brown and fork tender.
- Use parsley or green onion for garnish.
