As lychee season begins to wind down we are trying to get as much lychee in your CSA shares as possible! You may have noticed that some of the lychee you receive is smaller than others. We’ve been purchasing different varieties in small batches from different farmers.

The Kaimana variety is red, smooth and plump with a large seed at the center, while the Groff variety is small and spikier with a smaller seed. The Bosworth variety fruits later in the season and is in between the Groff and the Kaimana variety in size.
